The use of carbon dioxide (CO2) in industrial cleaning has taken on major significance since the development of dense dry ice pellets that are shot at high speeds against surfaces to be cleaned. The CO2 dry ice pellet cleaning system creates and delivers a high velocity stream of non-toxic, non-hazardous, non-explosive, dense CO2 pellets that travel at 600 feet per second (183 meters per second). Changing the nozzles and/or adjusting air pressure and quantity of pellets provides the capability of cleaning a wide variety of equipment and products. Upon impact, the dry ice pellets sublimate to a harmless gaseous state, leaving the surface clean, dry and undamaged, while keeping the area free from secondary waste and debris.
